PassCitizen is a free citizenship test preparation platform built for people going through one of the most important processes of their lives.

We started with Germany's Einbürgerungstest because that's where the need was clearest. The official BAMF question bank has 310 questions, the test is only available in German, and most practice resources are either outdated, paid, or just not very good. We wanted to fix that.

Today PassCitizen covers six countries: Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Austria. Each country gets the full set of official questions, a timed mock exam, and a study mode so you can work through topics at your own pace. There is no account required. No paywall. Your progress is saved locally on your device.

For Germany, we use the official BAMF question bank — all 310 questions are published by the government and used in the real test. For the United States, we use the official USCIS civics question bank. For the UK, Canada, Australia, and Austria, our questions are based on the official government study material for each country's citizenship test.
